The best equipment is great for technical quality, but it is no guarantee of conceptual quality. There are basically two types of cameras available; standard definition and high definition. They differ in two ways – HD has a higher resolution and it supports a broader colour gamut than standard video. These two factors have an important impact on the video quality, but they only partly affect it. But remember, if you have a photograph and want to enlarge it, you can only do so to a certain size. The photograph or video image needs to start at a high quality so that it can be successfully blown up to any size screen or print. Remember, equipment alone can’t make a wedding video special, only a talented and creative person can do that.
