Ayleece Reading married Joel Garner

Proposal: Sunset Candlelight dinner at Oskars Restaurant in Burleigh overlooking the ocean. After the main meal Joel proposed to me at our table overlooking the moonlit ocean, it was romantic and just perfect.

Stationery: Romantic style photo card featuring the two of us in one of our fav spots.

Ceremony: Len Wort Park, Currumbin. Our favourite spot, such a beautiful serenity about this location. Joel and I both grew up in Tugun and Currumbin so this was a very special location to us.

Celebrant: Clarah Luxford was our amazing celebrant, we couldn’t have asked for better! She is so easy going and made our ceremony so romantic and unique.

Music: Ceremony- Joshue Kaddison ‘Beautiful in my eyes’, our whole ceremony was brought to tears with this beautiful song it was just perfect. I walked down the aisle with my mum and dad either side and my mum holding our beautiful girl Millie (7 months old) it was a very special moment. Walking out was to ‘Beautiful day’ by U2.

Reception venue: Currumbin RSL function room. A three course sit down menu, the food was amazing everyone loved and complimented the meals.

Decorations: Semi formal with black and white theme. I wanted an elegant and romantic feel so chose crystal candelabras and tealights to decorate each table.

Flowers: My flowers were from Tweed Banora Flowers, a breathtaking bouquet of a mixture of David Austin roses surrounded by a pale dusty pink and pastel arrangement, to create a vintage feel.

Cake: A three tier dusty pink in colour with a shimmery fondant, the cake consisted of red velvet, chocolate and white chocolate with diamantes elegantly trailing around the top and bottom layers and vintage flowers.

Dresses: I had two dresses; my main dress had a strapless raw silk ivory bodice with a raw layer of tulle on the bottom and a crystal belt sewn around the tulle on my hips which really gave it a beautiful look. Nikki from FGF Bridal Collections was amazing, I could choose the bodice I loved and the tulle I loved to create my own style. I changed into my second dress for the first dance, which was a lace mermaid silhouette strapless style with beading around the waistline.

Accessories: Elegant crystal hairpiece and crystal tennis bracelet and drop crystal earrings. Shoes were a light champagne peep toe stiletto with crystal heel.

Photography: Elisa from Pineapple Images. What a unique beautiful girl, her images are breathtaking. You feel like you’ve known Elisa for years, the bridal party just loved her, we all felt so comfortable. Her work is amazing and unique, she captured a romantic and vintage feel which is exactly what we had planned. We received so many beautifully edited images, the photos were truly fantastic, everything we wanted and more.

Honeymoon: A 14 day celebrity solstice cruise from Sydney to New Zealand cruising the Bay of Islands and the South Island of New Zealand.
