Kaylee Ball married Adam Van Kempen

Proposal: For me my the proposal was everything I wanted and more, Adam popped the question on Mother’s Day in the morning just sitting in bed at home. Some people want a big outrageous proposal but to be at home with the most precious people in my life was absolutely perfect. I had no idea he was even looking at rings so it was the most beautiful surprise.
Ceremony and Reception: After months of searching for the perfect venue, we chose Parkwood International. This venue suited our theme perfectly with its rustic charm and gorgeous views of the beautiful grounds, we fell in love with the space instantly.

Décor: We focused our theme around ‘soft romance’ using off white and creams with a splash of blush and sparkle that accented the sparkle from the diamante belt on my gown.

Bridesmaid’s dresses: The bridesmaids wore a floor length dusty rose soft chiffon dress with a gold waist belt from Shieke at Robina Town Centre. Not only did the colour of the dresses match our theme, the design of the dresses with the belt added a little more shape to the body.

Dress: Dressed head to toe in delicate patterned lace with a touch of bling with diamantes and crystals on the waist belt, and a lace up back which not only suited the theme of our wedding, but made me feel like a princess.

Jewellery: I wanted my dress to make a statement and kept my jewellery classic and simple. For my something borrowed, my Matron of Honour and best friend of 10 years lent me her jewelled hair comb and the earrings she wore for her wedding and a very special gift from my dad given to me in the morning, a beautiful and delicate white gold Tiffany and Co bracelet

Photographer: Our photographer was one of our most important choices and we chose Annie from Fotoforce Photography. Her photos were absolutely beautiful and we felt we had an instant connection with her, She was very organised throughout the whole day and helped to make the day run effortlessly as well as making the photo shoot lots of fun. She captured all our precious moments and we will treasure them forever and recommend her highly to any brides and grooms out there. You only have one chance to get an experienced professional to record this special day for you and Fotoforce will do this perfectly.

Flowers: Beautiful cottage look bouquets with chrysanthemums, cottage roses and a lot of greenery which I loved.

Highlight of the day: Kaylee – The highlight of the day for me was definitely that first moment seeing Adam’s face as I walked down the aisle, everyone else sort of melted away and it was the most precious moment I will treasure forever. Adam – The moment I first saw Kaylee arrive through the garden arches was my highlight of the day, she looked so beautiful and I knew for sure then making her my wife was the best decision I’ve ever made!

Advice: Enjoy the day, it goes so quickly I think you really need to savour each moment. And of course don’t sweat the small stuff, work out what is really important to you both and do that.
