How we Met:
Summer Field Days on the Gold Coast 5th January 2008. I noticed a tall good looking guy staring and smiling at me. I had caught Adam’s eye and he made his way over to me which I was very happy about and the rest is history.
16th October 2011 on a warm sunny day at Noosa North Shore Beach. We enjoyed a wonderful day at the beach and we were drying off back at our 4WD on the beach when Adam asked me to come around the back and there he was on bended knee asking “will you marry me?”
Hastings Point Headland. In our vows we thought it was important to say that we were going to hold each other in our highest regards.
Going down the aisle I used our song ‘Use somebody’ usually sung by Kings of Leon but I found another version by Laura Jenson. Celebration song was by Powder Finger ‘Burn your name’. Going into the reception we played Neon Trees ‘Everybody talks’ and our first dance was to Kings of Leon ‘Use somebody’ and throwing of the bouquet was to No Doubt’s ‘Settle down’.
Mantra on Salt Beach, Kingscliff in The Plantation Ball Room. Mantra is very well priced, we had a BBQ buffet which everyone thought was amazing and our guests are still talking about how fantastic the food was.
We had a soft vintage look. Our centerpieces were different sized jars with lace wrapped around them and tea lights inside. We also had high glasses filled with baby’s breath and heaps of tea lights everywhere.
Round balls of white roses with a few different purple flowers.
Photography and Videography:
