Teneal Sigley married Sam Potter

How We Met: Originally we met when we were 8 years old then again in high school year 11 and also worked at McDonalds together.

Proposal: Driving home from a long weekend away we stopped into Nambucca Heads to have lunch. Sam insisted we quickly go and check out the surf at Shelly’s Beach. On the beach checking out the surf I turn around to walk to the car and there he is on one knee.

Ceremony: One of our favourite beaches is Cabarita Beach, you can’t get a more perfect beach location. Perfect weather and amazing vintage beach theme ceremony was set up by Table Jewels.

Music: My flower girl, bridemaids and myself walked down to Boyce Avenue “A thousand years”.

Reception: Saltbar & Bistro Kingscliff. Peite was our wedding co-ordinator and was an excellent help with planning the reception. She made everything so stress free and organized.

Theme: We kept it nice and simple by having a vintage/beach theme. Our centerpieces were a cluster of flowers with a white lantern.

Cake: Our stunning cake was a three tier jaffa, white choc mud and choc mud cake.

Dress and Suits: Sam’s groomsmen wore charcoal with open jackets and Sam wore a navy blue suit. My dress was a sweetheart cut mermaid lace gown and was the dress I always dreamed of.

Transport: We had two VW Kombies. They were so cool and went with our theme perfectly.

Photography: Lauren Joy Photography. I have never come across a photographer so talented and takes such stunning natural shots. She really captures the moment. Lauren and Tara made the day absolutely stress free and fun.

Honeymoon: Thailand, Patong and Kui Sumai. Very relaxing and such a stunning part of the world to see.

Advice: Don’t stress. If something doesn’t work out for whatever reason, it wasn’t meant to be. Enjoy yourself as the day goes way too quickly.
